Just in time for the beginning of spring, we are bringing a breath of fresh air to SecurePIM and the SecurePIM Management Portal in March!
Take a look at what we have improved this time.
SecurePIM Enterprise / Government (9.17.x for iOS &
9.2.x for Android)
SecurePIM Supports Conditional Access for OAuth (iOS)
SecurePIM now offers advanced access restrictions through Conditional Access for OAuth, which can be set by administrators to enhance security.
With Conditional Access, additional security measures such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) may be required. In SecurePIM, this is supported by system workflows that can be activated via the SMP.
Show All Saved Contacts When Creating Calendar Events (Local and GAL) (iOS)
You can now display all stored contact addresses when adding contacts and choose between them when creating a calendar event. Tap and hold on a selected contact or a search result to display additional email addresses from the GAL or the local address list.
Add and Remove Local Bookmarks Directly in the Workspace (iOS)
In the Workspace, you can now add or delete local bookmarks manually. You can either select a bookmark from the internal browser or create a bookmark yourself by entering a URL and a name.
Improved View when Creating Appointments (Android)
We have optimized the view for the description of appointments in the SecurePIM calendar for you. The view now adapts dynamically to the required length of the description.
SecurePIM is ready for Android 15 (Android)
All preparations have been successfully completed and tested. With this release, SecurePIM officially supports Android 15, meaning that SecurePIM remains your proven solution for secure communication under Android 15.
Technical Information
End of Support for iOS 17
With this release, SecurePIM has ended support for iOS and iPadOS 17.
SecurePIM 9.12.x is the last version to run on iOS 17.
Disabling Apple Intelligence Writing Tools (iOS)
From iOS 18.4, Apple Intelligence features will be fully functional on iPhones in the EU. When AI features are activated, they could access data that is worthy of protection.
We therefore strongly recommend that you disable Apple Intelligence either via MDM or manually in the iOS device settings.
Please update SecurePIM to the latest version on all your devices.
For iOS-Devices
With iOS/iPadOS versions 18.3.2, some security-critical patches are available. Please therefore update to version 18.3.2. Please note that we will discontinue support for older iOS versions 6 months after an official release of a new iOS version.
For Android-Devices
If you are using an Android device, we recommend that you use Android 15. Please update your device if you have not already done so.
SecurePIM Management Portal (Version 2.58.x)
Filter Device Overview by Group
You can now also filter the device overview by group. To do this, go to the device overview. You can display the entries of a specific group there and export them.
Test Email Templates Before Sending
You can now send email templates to your own address in advance for testing purposes. If necessary, you can adjust the template before sending it to a larger user group.
New Setting “OAuth with System Component”
You can now select the new setting “OAuth with system component”. This function activates authentication via Microsoft Intune’s Conditional Access for SecurePIM users.
Please also note the information on the system requirements for the SecurePIM Management Portal. A detailed table can be found in the release notes for version 2.58.x.
Download the new versions now
The new version of SecurePIM is now available in the Apple App Store (version 9.17.x) and in Google Play (version 9.2.x). Update now and benefit from the latest features.
