Display and Update Private Events for Shared Calendars (iOS)
In shared calendars, you can now see details of events that have been set to private by the calendar’s owner and edit them – if you have the respective permissions.
Only the owner of a calendar can set events as private.
Enable Microphone Access (iOS)
In the Browser module, you can now grant SecurePIM permission to access the Microphone.
Scrolling to Infinity in Shared Mailboxes (Android)
With the setting Enable infinite scrolling, Team Mails will also load emails that are older than 30 days when initiated. The setting is activated by default and can be deactivated if required.
Automatic Assignment of Default Certificates With Smart Card on Demand (Android)
If smart card on demand is enabled, an imported certificate is now automatically set as the default certificate. You no longer need to navigate to the settings and set the certificate as the default.
Technical Information
For iOS-Devices
With iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, some critical security vulnerabilities have been closed. We therefore strongly recommend that you use iOS/iPadOS versions 17.5. Please note that we will discontinue support for older iOS versions 6 months after an official release of a new iOS version and that iOS and iPadOS 16 will no longer be supported from this Release onwards.
For Android-Devices
If you are using an Android device, we recommend that you use Android 14. Please update your device if you have not already done so.
SecurePIM Management Portal (Version 2.53.x)
Second Delivery Attempt for System Emails
The delivery of system emails, for example for the registration of SecurePIM users or notifications for administrators, can sometimes fail during transmission. With this release, we are increasing the chance of successful delivery. Failed emails are now automatically resent in a second attempt after five seconds.
