SECUREPIM IS READY FOR iOS 11

Munich, September 19, 2017 – Apple has announced the release of iOS 11. With this release Apple has once again highlighted its commitment to enterprise customers by providing more functionality and security in its devices.

Taken the importance for the IT to support mobile workers on the new OS and ensure compatibility for their enterprise apps, SecurePIM has been thoroughly preparing for this major update to support iOS 11 new capabilities right from the first day of its launch.

Today, we are happy to announce that SecurePIM’s new release, v7.41.3, is ready to support iOS 11 and its new capabilities from the first day of launch, so IT can support mobile workers using the new iOS version and ensure its compatiblity with their enterprise apps.

New functions of our new release:

• CallKit: Easily identify the calls from your business-related contacts from SecurePIM.
• Multi-Tasking: Work with two apps simultaneously on iPads. Both apps are active at the same time.
• Drag and Drop: If enabled by IT, text, images and links can be dragged and dropped in and out of SecurePIM.

Please note: Due to a new limitation of push notifications introduced with iOS 11, the popup when a new email arrives might be shown with some delay in combination with Microsoft Exchange.
