VIRTUAL SOLUTION ALLOWS MOBILE SECURITY AS A SERVICE WITH ITS NEW PARTNERSHIP MODEL

Munich, 25 October 2017 – SecurePIM, Virtual Solution’s secure container solution, is now available as a managed solution. IT service providers and resellers can now expand their business models and provide their clients with a service enabling them to use their mobile terminal devices securely. In order to set up this model, Virtual Solution clearly focused on an indirect sales model, and defined a special partnership program. Nowadays, many IT service providers are expanding their portfolios with new business models, by providing their clients with cloud and service-based offers. Software as a Service (SaaS) plays a fundamental role in this new dynamic.

Thanks to Virtual Solution’s new service, IT service providers can now cover the increasingly pressing need for “security on mobile terminal devices”, by offering their clients a managed security solution for smartphones and tablet computers.

Virtual Solution’s SecurePIM protects all company data from unauthorized third-party access thanks to an encrypted container on the mobile terminal devices. IT service providers can now offer their clients this solution as Mobile Security as a Service. Users only need to install the SecurePIM app on their terminal devices. The management software and gateway (depending on the IT infrastructures in place) are operated and managed by the IT service providers themselves. Users therefore do not have to carry out the following tasks: the responsibility for registrations, settings, rollouts and support are all taken on by the service providers.

New partnership program for IT mobility

Virtual Solution has developed its new “Partner Pro” partnership program for this mobility solution. The program is aimed at innovative distributors, service providers and companies who wish to offer their clients an attractively-priced, modern product that is both easy to install and use on a growing market. In this manner, they expand their portfolios and can offer a secure solution for mobile work that is in line with the General Data Protection Regulation. Moreover, this solution bears the “Made in Germany” quality label, enabling providers to work directly in cooperation with a German company.
